Galvanic Treatment AKA Non Surgical Face Lift
This treatment is hydrating and so effective that it is referred to as a 'non-surgical face lift'. The treatment involves a device that uses low-level galvanic (electric) current to facilitate the transport of key ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin for improved cleansing, hydration, circulation, and radiance.
Remarkable results from this treatment target all the signs of aging. This relaxing and soothing treatment revitalises and renews your skin.
Is a non-surgical facelift right for you?
Your skin is unique, and so are your needs. If you’re considering a non-surgical facelift as a treatment option, please book a complimentary skin consultation to determine if this is the right treatment for you.
A galvanic facial is effective as a treatment for:
Lifting the skin
Tightening facial muscles
Increasing blood circulation, nourishing skin cells
Increasing absorption of nutrients
Aiding penetration of skin care products into the deeper layers of the skin
Skin firming, leaving it glowing
Clean, glowing results for all skin types
Galvanic treatment is designed for all skin types, normal, dry or oily. While it helps in restoring moisture to dry skin, it also helps to eliminate the accumulation of oil that leads to acne in case of oily skin. This treatment not only hydrates the skin, but also increases the capacity of your skin to retain moisture.
In addition, if your skin’s pores are congested, which is a common despair for anyone with oily skin, galvanic facial treatment is a great solution for you. Results are so remarkable, your radiant youthful face will leave people wondering about your age and your secret. All the possible information you would like to know about this treatment is right below.
How it works
A galvanic facial treatment uses soft electric currents for stimulating, refreshing and rejuvenating your skin.
Charged particles are electrically transported into the deeper layers of your skin through gels that contain negative and positive charges. Galvanic Spa can also treat many other parts of your body, resulting in:
Diminishes appearance of lines and wrinkles
Dramatic firming and lifting of facial contours
Two-part facial illuminates complexion
Unique water-based gels derived from natural botanicals
Reveals a younger, fresher looking you
Clinical Study Procedures over an 8 week period (two treatments a week) has proven the benefits of Galvanic Spa Treatment by 92.5%. Dermatological grading showed greater benefits on the appearance of fine lines, crow’s feet, and firmness. This is a phenomenon of non surgical facelift treatment alone. Galvanic facial treatments make a great alternative to, or treatment in conjunction with, injectables such as Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers for firmness and lift.

What to expect when you get a galvanic facial treatment
A typical routine includes: Cleansing, toning, a hydrating mask, Galvanic Spa Treatment including a line corrector peptide and application of a SPF 30+ for protection. The two major steps involved are as follows:
Step 1: Pre-treatment cycle
During pre-treatment, the galvanic device and the deep cleansing gel are both negatively charged. These negative charges repel each other, driving the gel deep into the skin. The gel binds to impurities; softens and relaxes pores, allowing them to breathe, and dissolves and liquefies excess facial oil.
Step 2: Treatment cycle
During the treatment cycle the Galvanic Device and the treatment gel are both positively charged. These positive charges repel each other, helping to deliver hydrating and free-radical scavenging ingredients deeply into the skin. At the same time, the positively charged device removes impurities targeted in the pre-treatment step.

Galvanic Device: What the Science Says
Like other organs of the body, the physiological functions and structures within the skin continuously decline with advancing age. One of the first visible manifestations of aging skin is the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
This phenomenon has many causes, but the main cause is primarily a breakdown in collagen. Collagen is the structural protein in skin that provides structure—like scaffolding—and tautness.
As individuals age, environmental and mechanical stresses break down collagen at an increased rate, and the fibroblasts (specialized skin cells in the dermis that produce skin proteins like collagen) cannot keep up. These cells also naturally slow with age, which decreases the amount of collagen that is produced.
The combination of these two factors may cause the skin in many people to essentially cave in—leading to the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Peptides are small molecules composed of amino acids that have targeted functions and are the way the cells in our body communicate with each other. A pro-collagen peptide has been identified with the sequence Lysine-Threonine-Threonine-Serine that is easily absorbed into the epidermis layers of the skin.
This peptide binds to the receptor site on the fibroblast membrane, signaling the fibroblast to begin the synthesis of collagen to help counteract the physiological slowing of collagen production and increased degradation in the epidermis, the outermost layer of skin.
Not only does collagen give skin a more youthful appearance, but adequate amounts of collagen also contribute to essential skin moisturization. Collagen is surrounded by a gel-like material called the “ground substance” which is composed of moisture binding glycoaminoglycans (GAGs). These GAGs play a critical role in the hydration and moisture level within the skin and enable collagen fibers to retain water and provide moisture to the epidermis. Without GAGs, collagen would resemble an empty net instead of scaffolding (iIncreased moisturization can offer additional plumpness and fullness.)
